The Sobey Master of Business Analytics (MBAN) is redefining what a modern analytics degree should be. It brings together business analytics, cutting-edge agentic AI, health data specialization, and one of Canada’s most immersive extended internship experiences—creating a program built for the next generation of AI-driven leaders.

Measured against what truly matters—real-world experience, career outcomes, applied learning, and future-focused AI curriculum—Sobey MBAN stands firmly in Canada’s top tier. Not only does it compete with the country’s most prestigious universities, it outperforms many of them where it counts most.

This is not just another analytics program—it’s a career accelerator, built on three bold pillars of excellence:

1. Elite Career Outcomes

Our numbers aren't just statistics; they are a track record of success. See Students Internship and Placement for details.

  • 98% Internship Placement: Students secure high-impact, 8-month residencies with industry leaders.

  • 95% Employment Rate: Graduates land full-time roles within 90 days of finishing. Through aggressive industry engagement and deep-rooted connections with Atlantic Canada’s dominant firms, we don't just grant degrees—we launch careers. See Expand Your Network and Career for more information.

2. A Future鈥慞roof AI Curriculum

While other programs play catch-up, we pioneer. Our curriculum is one of the first in the nation to integrate LangChain-focused Agentic AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). We go beyond technical execution, embedding dedicated coursework in Responsible AI, Ethics, and Risk Frameworks to prepare you to lead organizations through the complexities of the AI era.

3. The Dual Credential Advantage

Maximize your market value without increasing your tuition. Every MBAN student can earn a Graduate Certificate in Health Data Analytics at no additional cost. This provides a strategic fast-track into the multi-billion dollar healthcare sector, giving you a distinct competitive advantage the moment you graduate. The stand-alone program information is available here GDHDA.
