The Frank H. Sobey Awards for Excellence in Business Studies are now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year! There are 8 awards of $50,000 across the Atlantic Canadian business schools, and all three finalists submitted by each business school will receive $5,000! Applications must be submitted by Monday, November 30, 2026. Students interested in applying for the award are strongly encouraged to learn more by visiting the Frank H. Sobey Award . You can review the  to find the full list of eligibility requirements (note that an annual GPA of 3.00 in the previous year is required for the award).

Important: All documents listed in the application to be sent to the Dean/Dean's Office must be emailed to fhsaward.app@smu.ca. All reference letters must be submitted to this address by the individual writing the letter. Documents sent to other email addresses will not be considered as 'received'.
