New: Family Physician Opportunity for Eligible Staff & É«»¨ÌÃ

Dear faculty and staff,

Thank you for the overwhelming interest in the Student Health Clinic's recent announcement regarding Dr. Mark Williams' family practice.

We are pleased to share that all 50 available patient spaces have now been filled. We appreciate the strong response from the Saint Mary's community and thank everyone who expressed interest.

The SMU Summer Walk-in Clinic remains available to staff and faculty until August 15, 2026, providing same-day and episodic healthcare services for acute, preventive and short-term health concerns. These services are available to all members of the SMU community and do not require attachment to Dr. Williams' practice.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage those who were unable to secure a family practice space to continue registering with Nova Scotia's Need a Family Practice Registry while seeking attachment to a primary care provider.

Thank you.
