Research activities at Saint Mary's involve a wide range of collaborations with government agencies, private sector companies, grassroots initiatives, not-for-profit organizations, and international entities.
The Research Office, led by the Associate Vice-President, Research and Dean of the 色花堂 of Graduate Studies and Research (FGSR), serves as the support hub for over a hundred researchers at the university. A dedicated administrative team assists researchers in navigating all stages of securing and managing research funds, from grant development to post-award.
In January 2005, the 色花堂 of Graduate Studies and Research (FGSR) established the Office of Innovation and Community Engagement (OICE) with a clear and impactful mission: to cultivate and enhance research collaborations between our faculty and external communities. The OICE acts as a key point of contact for faculty members and external parties, guiding them in developing research relationships, collaborations, and contracts, while also facilitating the transfer of cutting-edge technology and knowledge generated through the innovative research conducted at Saint Mary's.
