Residence Life student-led groups and committees bring the residence community to life and are a great way to get involved! Our groups and committees help plan events, programs, and initiatives all year long to engage, educate, and connect students, while giving members valuable leadership experience. Recruitment for executive roles and committee members kicks off in the Fall semester, with positions being filled throughout the school year.

With students from over 60 countries, our residence community is wonderfully diverse and the Multicultural Committee celebrates that! From Henna Night to Dia de Los Muertos and Around the World Trivia, this committee creates fun, educational events that showcase cultures from across the globe.
The RainBEAU Committee creates a safe, inclusive space for 2SLGBTQIA+ students to celebrate and explore their identities. Past events include Drag Queen Bingo, Queer Prom, Game Nights, and more. Student-led and full of energy, this committee helps students make lasting connections on campus!
The Res Wellness Team helps students prioritize their mental, physical, and social well-being. From meditation and yoga to aromatherapy and mocktail mixing, the team plans engaging activities that make wellness approachable and fun! Joining the Res Wellness Team is also a great way to gain leadership experience and make a real difference on campus.
The Res Consent Project focuses on sexual consent, sexual health, and preventing sexualized violence. Through interactive events like Sex Positivity Bingo, Consent Trivia, and field trips to Venus Envy, this student-led team sparks conversations that make residence - and campus - safer and more informed!
The Res AfterDark Team organizes late-night, alcohol-free events that give students a safe and fun way to hang out with friends. From Mario Kart tournaments to movie nights and paint nights, these events often align with other campus activities, giving students exciting alternatives while fostering community connections!
