The University Secretariat is responsible for conducting elections for various governing bodies at Saint Mary's University.
The Saint Mary’s University Board of Governors and the Academic Senate are helping to move forward our academic mission. It is an intersection of community leaders/volunteers, alumni, student leaders, academic staff and senior administration working together to build an academic culture that is inclusive.
The Board and Senate value diverse perspectives and lived experiences. Serving on either governing body is an opportunity to bring diverse points of view and foster more effective decision-making. It is also a good opportunity to engage in collegial governance, with the ability to influence the future direction of our university.
