Responsible leadership is threaded throughout the Sobey MBA program. As champions for the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME), Sobey School encourages you to pursue innovative extracurricular and class projects based on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Further, our program immerses you in unique international and local business experiences. Through these specially-designed immersive experiences, you will develop your ability to embrace uncertainty and change and thrive.
Immersive
There is opportunity to connect with businesses and organizations through service learning projects that make a meaningful contribution to our community.
To foster your global mindset, you will also be invited to take part in an intercultural immersion experience; travelling to another country with your class to work on consulting projects with international businesses.

Focus and Integrate
In the last semester, you’ll apply what you’ve learned and focus in a specialized area. Students can choose electives from a wide range of areas, notably, management consulting, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship and many other available disciplines. You’ll choose electives that will deepen your understanding of the areas. (See “Areas of Focus” for more.)
Taught by world-class faculty, the program is cohort-based and is completed in 16 months (full-time). It is recognized as a two-year program.
